The community healthcare solution eliminates the inconvenience of hospital visits caused to older and disabled people and helps them to avail healthcare facilities digitally via an app.
This cross-platform app also allows doctors and nursing staff to view patients’ details in a standard format like PHR/ EMR.
In order to build an application that privileges older patients and people with disability, we followed a five-step eloquent process which included in-depth identification of problems, a functional study of how the app is going to benefit users, being mindful of challenges, conducting problem-solving sessions with clients and testing the solution in the end.

The basic idea of implementing this application is to abolish hospital visits for older and physically impaired people and make healthcare facilities more flexible. Our aim was to develop a community healthcare solution that helps in carrying out treatment plans as well as providing in house medications facilities to patients who cannot visit hospitals.
To deal with everyday medical problems mainly affecting those who cannot go out to seek help, the client came up with an app idea that facilitates such patients by providing extra care with the help of nursing staff/ caregivers at their home. We cherished the client's initiative and discussed everything about the implementation of community healthcare solutions.
When it comes to developing an application for a separate group of people, it becomes important to understand how these people go about the idea of the solution. Keeping this in mind, we carried out user research and helped ourselves in gaining their context and perspective towards application.
The product discovery workshop plays a vital role in regards to the initial definition and planning phase of creating a digital product such as a mobility solution. We conducted the workshop with the intention to understand the client's objective, potential benchmarks, competition, and market opportunities. This helped us gain an insight into the client's prospect and that ready us to operate accordingly.
On the other hand, the client discussed some user personas and core elements of the project which could be implemented in application to maximize the chance of succeeding on the market. The overall session very much helped us learn every single aspect of the project and how the project should be handled and developed.
Keeping a close eye on your competitors is one of the important things to do when you are on the dash of developing an application. It helps in identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for your own business.

Finally, the solution was ready capturing the requirements of clients. The complete system was built as per HIPAA compliance and HL7 standards. The application can be accessed on both Android as well as on iOS platforms.
