Process Followed

The nature of applications varies from industry to industry and therefore, a different ideology works for each of them. Problem Identification

Health care providers have always been our knight in shining armor when it comes to avail the best medical facilities. However, there are some health care centers that still need to get better and enhance their services. Hence, we aim to build an application where patients can provide their feedback and help hospital staff to operate in a way that meets their expectations.

Feasibility Study

As per the client's need, an application that would be functional on Android as well as on iOS needed to be crafted. The other requirements were to provide a web interface for super admin and organization admins for back-end and notification support. We move forth in listing out implementations we can make in-app after observing the problems patients have gone through.

User research

When it comes to developing an application for a separate group of people, it becomes important to understand how these people go about the idea of the solution. Keeping this in mind, we carried out user research and helped ourselves in gaining their context and perspective towards application.

Product discovery workshop

Creating an idea of a product's objectives through detailed research is one of the things that help in the success of a mobile app. Product discovery is the phase where the team visualizes the scope of the app and defines features that create value for end-users. The intention of this workshop was to understand the client's objective, potential benchmarks, competition, and market opportunities.

The product discovery workshop plays a vital role in regards to creating a digital product such as a mobility solution. This workshop helped us gain an insight into the client's prospect and ready us to operate accordingly. During the session, we discussed some of the practices that would be recounted while creating the mobility solution such as target markets, critical features for success, etc.

Competitor Analysis

Before developing a solution, watching over your competitors who are in the same business as yours is one of the primary matters to heed on. Therefore, we carried out a competitive analysis to identify strengths, threats, and opportunities for our future application.

The Challenges

Sometimes it gets tough for the team of developers to incorporate the solution that conforms to the client’s demand. While developing a resourceful app for users, we at QSS, encountered a few challenges which are listed below -

  • Survey completion progress by easy to understand status bar
  • Auto-notify users for the incomplete survey
  • Sending notifications to users for half-filled surveys
  • Secure transactions of data to maintain the patient’s data privacy
  • Allowing multiple surveys on the same devices

Final Outcome

Finally, the solution was ready capturing the requirements of clients. The complete system was built with backend APIs with the utmost transparency of providing surveys to our patients. The application can be accessed on both Android as well as on iOS platforms.
