The Project
We collaborated with the client to develop a mobile and web solution enabling patients to provide feedback on hospital facilities. Our team focused on creating secure, user-friendly surveys with audio comments, progress tracking, and automated notifications, while the client guided us on features that reflect patient expectations. The platform offers super admin and organization admin dashboards, seamless mobile access, and intuitive analytics, helping hospitals improve care quality while ensuring data privacy and enhancing patient satisfaction.
Process We Followed
After lining up salient details related to the project, our team outlined a course of action that would be followed to develop a comprehensive solution. The process comprised of identification of problems, considering the relevant factors of the solution, taking note of common challenges faced, technology stack to be used and coming up with the outcome in the end.
1. Problem Identification
We developed a mobile and web solution enabling patients to give feedback on hospital services, complete health assessments, and share audio comments, helping staff improve care while ensuring secure, organized, and user-friendly survey collection.
3. Solution Implementation
We conducted thorough user research to understand patient needs and perspectives, followed by a product discovery workshop with the client to define objectives, key features, and success metrics. Competitive analysis helped us identify market opportunities and optimize the solution.
2. Feasibility Study
We designed a cross-platform app for Android and iOS with a web interface for admins, hosted on private Azure cloud. Features include secure APIs, email notifications, 24-hour survey reminders, and seamless backend management for efficient patient feedback collection.
4. Challenges Faced by QSS
While developing the patient survey app, our team at QSS faced challenges in balancing usability and security. Key hurdles included creating intuitive survey flows, real-time progress tracking, automated notifications, and ensuring data privacy across multiple surveys.
5. Final Outcome Achieved
Our team at QSS delivered a fully functional patient survey app meeting all client requirements. The solution offers seamless cross-platform access, secure AES 256-encrypted transactions, intuitive admin interfaces, and robust patient feedback analytics.
Problem Identification
Health care providers have always been our knight in shining armor when it comes to avail the best medical facilities. However, there are some health care centers that still need to get better and enhance their services. Hence, we aim to build an application where patients can provide their feedback and help hospital staff to operate in a way that meets their expectations.

Feasibility Study
As per the client's need, an application that would be functional on Android as well as on iOS needed to be crafted. The other requirements were to provide a web interface for super admin and organization admins for back-end and notification support. We move forth in listing out implementations we can make in-app after observing the problems patients have gone through.

Before diving into development, we aligned with the client to define clear objectives and understand the project scope. This phase allowed us to plan features, address market needs, and ensure the solution would deliver real value to patients and hospital staff.
User research
When it comes to developing an application for a separate group of people, it becomes important to understand how these people go about the idea of the solution. Keeping this in mind, we carried out user research and helped ourselves in gaining their context and perspective towards application.

Product discovery workshop
Product discovery workshopWe kicked off the project with a Product Discovery Workshop. Discovery Workshop is our trusted format for problem-solving. Our cross-functional team spent the first day understanding the client’s vision of the product and the intent behind the application. We established the core values of the product and created User Personas.
Competitor Analysis
Before developing a solution, watching over your competitors who are in the same business as yours is one of the primary matters to heed on. Therefore, we carried out a competitive analysis to identify strengths, threats, and opportunities for our future application.
The Challenges
Sometimes it gets tough for the team of developers to incorporate the solution that conforms to the client’s demand. While developing a resourceful app for users, we at QSS, encountered a few challenges which are listed below -

Finally, the solution was ready capturing the requirements of clients. The complete system was built with backend APIs with the utmost transparency of providing surveys to our patients. The application can be accessed on both Android as well as on iOS platforms.
