The Project

We collaborated with the client to develop a feature-rich health fitness app leveraging IoT capabilities for users in the USA. The app tracks physical activity, calories, sleep, and personalized workout routines while integrating seamlessly with multiple wearable devices. From our perspective, the focus was on building a secure, responsive, and user-friendly solution with rich UI/UX, push notifications, and one-tap tracking. From the client’s perspective, the app empowers users to monitor wellness daily, achieve personal fitness goals, and stay motivated through data-driven insights and social sharing of achievements.

Process We Followed


 After lining up salient details related to the project, our team outlined a course of action that would be followed to develop a comprehensive solution. The process comprised of identification of problems, considering the relevant factors of the solution, taking note of common challenges faced, technology stack to be used and coming up with the outcome in the end.

1. Problem Identification

We aimed to simplify health tracking by developing a hybrid fitness app that monitors physical activity, calories, exercise duration, and personal goals, enabling users to stay fit, track progress, and maintain wellness effortlessly.

We conducted user research, a product discovery workshop, and competitor analysis to align the health fitness app with user needs and client goals, define core features, and ensure a competitive, user-oriented, and market-ready solution.

We planned a feature-rich fitness app to track workouts, nutrition, and daily activities. The app displays data on mobile and web, syncs with wearables, supports social sharing, and offers workout videos and preset exercise routines for users.

4. Challenges Faced by QSS

While developing the health fitness app, we tackled challenges like creating rich UI/UX in React Native, implementing GPS, ensuring wearable compatibility, securing user data, enabling comprehensive tracking, and building convenient fitness functionalities.

5. Final Outcome Achieved

We delivered a web-responsive, mobile-based fitness app integrating backend APIs, push notifications, device synchronization, sleep and activity trackers, altimeter, and customizable workout routines, enabling seamless monitoring of users’ physical activities.

In this fast-paced world, keeping an eye on health-related vitals on daily routine can sometimes be difficult to manage, mainly for patients. Hence, nothing could be better than fitness wearables that keeps track of physical activity and sends reminders of wellness. Keeping this in mind, we aim at developing a native hybrid web responsive application.

After considering problems, a feature-rich health application, that tracks users/ patients’ workout and nutrition plans, was needed to put into action. We intended to develop a fitness monitoring solution that works wonders for patients by notifying them about the medicine and water intake, tracking nutrition habits and other daily activities.

  • Allows linking or delinking the app with one or all wearable devices 
  • Allows social sharing of achievements 
  • Provided users with workout and yoga videos to stay fit and healthy 
  • Added features like pre-set exercise routines

We started by defining a clear roadmap for the health fitness app, aligning client goals with market opportunities. This phase focused on designing core features, anticipating challenges, and ensuring the app would be user-centric and competitive in the market.

 The success of every app depends on by perceiving if it is actually targeting the users it was mainly built for; which can only be known by conversing with real-world users. Therefore, to gather user’s insight, we carried out user research among a group of people to understand the potential of the application and how we can keep it user-oriented.

Hospital visits are convenient and easy but can we say the same for older people as well? People with old ages are more likely to experience certain medical conditions. The idea is to develop an application that helps in carrying out treatment plans as well as providing in house medications facilities to the elderly patients. 

The app is equipped with modules like chat, group chat, alerts, user status, push notification, etc. and facilitates 24X7 special care to older people. 

We have used cross-platform technologies for developing the app.   

The app supports English language.
